*NOTICE: 2025 MEMBER CARDS WILL BE SENT OUT AROUND 4-2-2025* Welcome to the Minnesota Afterburners RC Club 2025 season, and website! We’re not just about jets, as the name implies. All types of rc aircraft are welcome, including gliders. In fact, MNAB is home to the Minnesota RC Soaring Society (MRCSS). Most nice days, you can see some really high-end carbon fiber gliders here. We had a successful repair work day on 4-6-2024, and also installed a much better safety fence. See the ANNOUNCEMENTS page to see the repair work. Also, MNAB IS NOW AN OFFICIALLY DESIGNATED FAA FRIA (FEDERAL RECOGNIZED IDENTIFICATION AREA). When flying in conformance with a CBO, pilots do NOT need any remote ID equipment on their planes.
